About The Position

This E&I Supervisor role is in an industrial paper mill where your leadership will directly drive safety, efficiency, and crew performance. Requirements

  • Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pulp and paper industry (or equivalent heavy industrial environment)
  • Working knowledge of ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Allen -Bradley PLCs
  • Strong electrical fundamentals with solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Hands -on troubleshooting and repair experience on E&I and control systems
  • Experience with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 33,000V
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced setting
  • Self -motivated with a take -charge attitude and strong understanding of personnel management techniques
  • Willingness to be a hands -on supervisor and be on call approximately once every 4–5 weeks (after ramp -up)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct all E&I hourly personnel, including scheduling, performance appraisals, and corrective action
  • Build and manage daily/weekly maintenance schedules, assigning work orders to maximize team skill and training
  • Verify that all safety requirements, tools, materials, and equipment are in place before every job kicks off
  • Troubleshoot and oversee maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, including ABB DCS and Allen -Bradley PLCs
  • Lead safety meetings, conduct field observations, and drive continuous improvement across the crew
