Taking applications for Summer 2026 E-Commerce Intern As a leading employer on the Outer Banks for over 40 years, Kitty Hawk Kites is hiring an E-Commerce Intern for 2026! Internships last a minimum of 12 weeks. This is an internship role within the eCommerce and buying team. This person provides administrative support to the E-Commerce Buyer, Online Sales Manager, and E-Commerce Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

Mathematical and Analytical Skills
Demonstrates an interest in retail and shows an ability to comprehend figures.
Self-starter and willingness to learn.
Attention to detail and thorough follow-up.
Can work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
PC Computer Skills, Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Excel Proficiency required.
Capacity to learn new reporting and software quickly.

Nice To Haves

Previous purchasing department experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide essential support to the E-Commerce team to ensure the department runs smoothly
Day to day administrative support. You will actively support the buying team, taking phone calls, responding to store communication and vendor requests.
Support Team with necessary information they need for their department.
Input information regarding orders and inventory management accurately.
Respond to supplier calls and store queries.
To adapt to the needs of the E-Commerce Team and respond to ad hoc requests relevant to the role.
May assist with inventory processing and retail operations.

Your work week will be 40 Hours and up to 6 days with opportunities for Overtime.
