About The Position

Campus Ink is a fast-growing e-commerce brand dedicated to providing top-quality products to customers worldwide. We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Operations Manager to optimize our direct-to-consumer (DTC) operations. This individual will play a key role in driving efficiency, managing our growing operations team, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment and product delivery. In this role, you will lead a small remote team responsible for the daily execution that keeps our stores accurate, our launches clean, and our fulfillment workflows running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you will coach and manage the team, solve problems, improve processes, and prevent issues before they reach customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of operations experience, with e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience leading a team; direct people management is preferred.
  • Strong Shopify experience (catalog management and bulk updates) and advanced comfort with Excel/Google Sheets are non-negotiable.
  • Confidence leading a remote team using documentation and asynchronous updates.
  • Must be available to work on Central Time hours.
  • High attention to detail with a consistent quality bar.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while planning ahead and keeping the team organized.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with managing Amazon Marketplace
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator or related design tools.
  • Experience in print-on-demand, production, or fulfillment-heavy environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations for product setup, QA, and store maintenance across Shopify stores.
  • Run a predictable team rhythm, including daily standups, weekly planning, asynchronous updates, and retrospectives to keep work visible.
  • Own quality control by reviewing team output, improving checklists, and reducing preventable errors.
  • Oversee Shopify product workflows, including product creation, tagging, collections, variants, SKU conventions, and storefront updates.
  • Manage bulk product data updates using spreadsheets and CSV workflows (Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Support new store launches by proofing builds, managing QA navigation and merchandising, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Coordinate with Printful and 3PL partners regarding inventory reports and resolving order or product issues.
  • Document and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent execution and faster team onboarding.
  • Liaise cross-functionally with Production and other teams to align on handoffs, timelines, and daily procedures.
  • Manage and optimize operations for Amazon and Ebay marketplace stores, ensuring efficient product listings and order processing.
