About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable E-Coat Operator to join our team at Minnesota Industrial Coatings. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor e-coating equipment to apply protective coatings to surfaces according to specifications. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the coating Perform routine maintenance on e-coating equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and upgrades when needed. Conduct regular quality checks on coated products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications. Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the coating, adjusting as necessary. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, process data, and quality control results. Generate reports on production output, quality metrics, and equipment performance. Perform daily and weekly PM’s on e-coating equipment Assist with other areas of production and other projects as assigned by Production Team Leader

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years’ experience in E-Coating or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of e-coating principles, techniques, and equipment operation
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality control and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Ability to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. on a consistent basis
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use power tools
  • Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Consistently wear personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels
