About The Position

Position Summary: Under close supervision, loads and unloads product on the paint line.  Operates paint guns, assembles packaging, and packages finished product to specifications.   Operation is routine and repetitive.   May rotate within the powder coat line and throughout the fabrication team as needed to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Up to two years production experience.
  • Must possess basic reading, writing, and computation skills.
  • Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to continuously improve and learn new skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and visitors.
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to facilitate activities necessary to a project’s completion.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Previous paint line experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and without injury.
  • Load and unload product onto the paint line.
  • Paints product per specifications and work instructions.
  • Assemble and package a wide variety of complex materials.
  • Packages product to specification.
  • May rotate into other positions within the team as required to meet production requirements.
  • Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
  • Implements the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.
  • May participate in defining strategies to meet quality objectives and in system reviews within the team.
  • Participates in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.
  • Problem solves individually or as part of a group as job duties require.
  • May be required to work overtime.
