About The Position

Goodwill of Western and Northern CT is looking for a motivated, ambitious, analytical, and strong team player to help supervise our successful and growing E-Commerce department. The Shift Supervisor supervises the E-Books staff to ensure that all production and sales goals are met.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in E-Commerce is strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend and reach.
  • Must be able to lift over 40 pounds.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in E-Commerce is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise floor staff in collaboration with eCommerce Managers, ensuring production workflows are optimized and output goals are consistently met.
  • Open and/or close the eBooks department as scheduled, ensuring proper hand-off and security protocols.
  • Pull, shelve, and prepare items for shipment according to established standards and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problematic orders and customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Communicate regularly with retail store locations to maintain proper sourcing of goods and replenish eBooks inventory.
  • Assist eCommerce Managers in responding to customer inquiries via designated platforms.
  • Maintain professionalism and positive communication with customers, store teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment is maintained at all times.
  • Promote a cooperative and team-oriented work environment by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of mutual respect.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate team members.
  • Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
