About The Position

Under limited supervision and guidance of the Manager, the E-Banking Specialist position will be responsible for learning job functions in the electronic banking department – wires, debit card production/disputes, ACH, OLB, Mobile Banking, Cash Management, Proof, Zelle, and doc scanning. The individual must display competent skills needed for an office environment comprised of various computer software and portray a strong mathematical aptitude; Self-motivation, time-management skills, and attention to details are all expected competencies of this position. Work is highly confidential in nature.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 6 months customer service experience required
  • Display excellent communication skills and cooperatively work with other team members of the bank regardless of personalities or communication style
  • Successfully complete all job assignments and meet timelines under minimal supervision
  • Exhibit strong mathematical aptitude and ability to learn automated banking operations
  • Multi-task and rotate job tasks with seamless flexibility
  • Occasionally work beyond set schedule; could include after-hours work or weekends
  • Successfully complete any assigned compliance training; Adhere to internal controls and procedures; Understand and comply with bank policies as well as regulations, laws, and the bank’s BSA/AML program as applicable to this position
  • Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and enthusiasm
  • Exercise trustworthy service, courtesy, tact and diplomacy in dealing with others
  • Efficiently use standard office equipment (i.e. desktop/laptop computer and software, copier, scanner, printers, fax, 10-key calculator, multi-line telephone system, etc.)
  • Effectively display Windows software skills (Word Processing/Typing, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Database usage)
  • This position requires manual dexterity; to regularly sit and read instruction, use hands to finger, key data, handle or feel, to talk and hear; the employee is required to frequently reach with hands and arms; and to occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, or kneel and climb stairs.
  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.; Maintaining cleanliness of work area is expected, as well as discarding of trash.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year related office experience showcasing computer skills and use of other common office equipment preferred (e.g. data processing, clerical/admin, equipment operator, etc.)
  • Banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver phenomenal customer service through aggressive friendliness accompanied by honest, positive and confident behaviors (in-house and on the phone)
  • Provide timely and accurate service to both internal and external customers
  • Process debit card applications daily duties
  • Process debit card disputes daily duties
  • Process ACH daily duties
  • Process OLB/Cash Management/Mobile Banking/Zelle daily duties
  • Process Proof and Data Entry functions
  • Process Wire daily duties
  • Scan documents received on customer accounts pertaining to the E Services applications
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required or assigned
  • Champion the MNB mission statement with pride and enthusiasm
  • Perform all aspects of your position with a cooperative and teachable spirit
  • Support all other team members, providing assistance and encouragement to ensure service is provided in the most efficient and effective manner
