Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We spoke with the Senior Partner Personal Banking (who you’d report to), they’re looking for a Banker 5, and they gave us some great insight on what to expect with this role: What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Engage with customers in a warm friendly manner, assisting with a variety of enquiries Through conversations with customers, identify their goals and propose BNZ products and solutions to achieve the best outcomes Take care of all personal banking needs of our customers: unsecured lending, home lending, and insurances Deliver BNZ’s signature experience Financial Health Checks Meet banks and regulatory process and policy requirements What attributes will this person have in order to be successful? You’ll have Banking experience and an understanding of Bank processes and policies, but what’s most important for us is someone that is passionate about taking their Banking career to the next level. This role gives you the opportunity to learn and develop your skills further in lending and establish yourself as the go to for complex lending requirements. It goes without saying that you’ll enjoy working with people and get a buzz out of helping customers, and your ability to problem solve and find solutions to exceed our customers’ expectations will hold you in good stead for this role!
