DYNATRACE OBSERVABILITY ENGINEER-McLean, VA
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Dynatrace Observability Engineer to design implement and optimize an enterprise observability ecosystem. The role focuses on leveraging Dynatrace APM Infrastructure Monitoring RUM and Davis AI to deliver end-to-end visibility system reliability performance optimization and proactive incident detection across hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud environments. The engineer will collaborate with application teams SREs DevOps Cloud Engineering and business stakeholders to build scalable observability solutions that improve troubleshooting customer experience and enable data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace APM SaaS or Managed environment
- Strong understanding of observability pillars metrics logs traces events
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and Kubernetes
- Experience configuring dashboards alerts tagging rules management zones and dashboards
- Solid understanding of microservices distributed systems APIs and application performance concepts
- Proficiency with automation scripting tools Python Bash PowerShell YAML
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions GitLab
- Dynatrace (MUST HAVE)
