About The Position

Aurex Innovation labs is looking for a self-motivated dynamics/flight sciences engineer to help us support the future of space hypersonics. Join us in shaping a new era of defense solutions. As our Dynamics engineer, you will: Lead structural dynamics analyses that shape the performance and survivability of missile and spacecraft flight hardware, from early concept through flight. Develop, refine, and own high-fidelity dynamic models using both in-house and industry-standard tools to simulate mechanical loads, deployment mechanisms, and complex separation events. Drive loads development at both the component and system level, translating real-world environments into actionable design criteria and validated engineering solutions. Plan and execute dynamic and static test campaignsincluding separation eventsthen synthesize results into clear, data-driven insights that influence design decision

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience performing multi-body dynamics
  • Experience with rigid body kinematics and/or dynamics simulation
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelors degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using NX/Nastran, Abaqus, ADAMS, LS-Dyna, Matlab, Mathcad and CREO for analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, or missiles
  • Knowledge of DoD systems (hypersonics, ballistics, missiles)
  • Knowledge of GD&T
