About The Position

The Dual Director of Sales will spearhead the sales initiatives for Hampton Inn Richmond and Home2 Richmond, focusing on revenue growth, market share expansion, and maximizing profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Sales, the Dual Director of Sales will develop and implement customized sales and marketing strategies, utilizing market insights and building strategic partnerships. This position will be based out of Hampton Inn Richmond, and will support the Home2 Richmond. Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field experience.
  • 5+ years successful experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting
  • Comparable record of sales leadership experience is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade shows, conventions, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Marketing experience is desired to help expand marketing efforts

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and implement the hotel’s annual Sales and Marketing plan, make sales calls to key accounts and potential clients, and capitalize on all revenue opportunities.
  • Aggressively pursue revenue goals and effectively utilize yield management and revenue maximization tools.
  • Ensure good standing in the community by developing and maintaining relationships with the Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau, other hotels, local schools, local government and other community and civic organizations.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to Ivy Hospitality’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Create and implement strategic sales action plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate local market competitiveness, developing strategy to meet new market demands.
  • Participate with business unit leadership to develop and implement pricing strategy to meet Company objectives.
  • Develop and execute promotional programs, sales blitzes, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales.
  • Serves as Brand Champion to the hotel by communicating passion for the brand, making decisions in light of brand standards and serves as role model for branded guest experience
  • Develop the sales forecast and maintain accountability for sales goal achievement, including but not limited to respective key metrics and/or budget achievement.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all sales activities, promoting a cooperative and supportive work environment in line with the Ivy Hospitality ‘s core values.
  • Maintain accurate historical records and ensure that all sale transactions comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
