About The Position

The U.S. Mainline Planner will be a trusted team member to support Levi Women's Tops and Outerwear. You will be an instrumental team member; with financial experience of the retail market to inform the retail buy plans and achieve continued growth. You can resolve important business issues, provide analysis on opportunities and risks, promote consistency in processes, and adopt best practices across the business and within the Direct-to-Consumer team. You will work with planning leads, merchandising team, and allocation partners to ensure end-to-end strategy execution and line productivity About the Job You will report to the Senior Planner. Help build department financial plans. Balance channel, brand, and business needs. Develop financial forecasts in-season and contribute to regular financial conversations with a diverse set of business partners. Help create a narrative and articulate risks and opportunities. Collaborate with merchants to develop consumer and category segment productivity targets within an assortment architecture. Build and present bottom-up sales and inventory plans. Reconcile against the tops-down financial plans to inform financial and inventory decisions. Align with planning leads and business partners to guide in-season tactical activities in execution of seasonal strategies: promotional strategies, markdown management. Work with allocation partners to ensure optimal in-season allocation, replenishment, consumption, and receipt flow. Manage in-season profitability to achieve or exceed goals and submissions. Identify opportunities in, and improve, processes and tools. Participate in additional projects that support channel and company plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
  • 3+ years of planning experience
  • An ownership mindset; flexible and resilient with a record of finding creative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with a diverse team both in-person and hybrid.
  • Thoughtful analytic abilities; can use analysis to help shape stories.
  • Have a strong understanding of retail math, merchandising financials, and profitability KPIs.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
  • This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
