The DTA Application Analyst is responsible for the analysis, configuration, support, and ongoing maintenance of the Irth TMS dynamic ticket allocation process. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure application is reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs. The DTA Application Analyst serves as an application subject-matter expert and plays a key role in application lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, issue resolution, system enhancements, and user support related specifically to Irth TMS dynamic ticket allocation. --- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Application Support and Maintenance Provide administration and support for business users and remote managers and locators on our ticket management and GIS applications. Configure and complete system configuration, business rule development and administration for new features, support services to included ticket allocation, routing, reports, billing, time management and notifications. Perform daily tasks following an established process for tracking support issues and resolutions. Understand applications form-based programming, attend design meetings, fix bugs, and assist the development team in all design-related tasks. Perform advanced GIS analysis to support operational planning and decision-making Design, implement, and optimize Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) solutions to improve routing efficiency and resource utilization Develop, manage, and maintain spatial datasets and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and usability Analyze existing operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement using data-driven methodologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and system improvements Support the deployment of new operational processes, including planning, testing, and rollout Apply change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new tools and workflows Create clear documentation, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations Present insights and updates to stakeholders, including local teams and executive leadership Work with business users to gather and document application requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications or configuration requirements. Application Lifecycle Management Assist with application upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Participate in testing and deployment of new features or systems. Support data accuracy, reporting needs, and system integrations. Assist with evaluation and implementation of new applications as directed. Maintain accurate documentation of application functionality, workflows, and procedures. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination Act as a liaison between the organization and application vendors. Manage vendor support cases and escalation processes. Communicate system changes, outages, and updates to stakeholders. Compliance, Security, and Governance Ensure applications comply with IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Participate in access reviews, audits, and compliance activities. Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for assigned applications.
