Requirements

• Have 1–2 years of supervisory experience (or have completed Richmond’s own Supervisory Training)
• Have at least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Are computer-savvy (Word, Excel, Outlook) and can write clearly and concisely
• Know how to balance structure with compassion, and confidence with flexibility
• Hold a valid driver’s license (NY, NJ, or CT) with 3+ years in good standing

Nice To Haves

• Have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent in healthcare or a related field
• Are the kind of person who brings calm, creativity, and kindness to a busy day

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in a dynamic Day Program setting
• Making sure daily programming meets Richmond’s standards of excellence
• Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals through educational, recreational, and community-based activities
• Keeping the Day Program running like clockwork — schedules, staff, support, and all the small details that make a big difference
• Reporting directly to the Day Program Manager and stepping in wherever needed to keep things moving forward
