DSC Security Officer
About The Position
Provide a security for company resources, guests and team members in accordance with Dakota Nation Gaming Enterprise and the respective security department policies Perform chip and credit transactions and money transfers, verifies amount by signature, in accordance with company, Tribal, State and Federal guidelines Maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency in casino and department procedures and policies Detect and correct safety and/or security problems which endanger guests, team members or assets Respond to incidents, unusual occurrences and take immediate action, when appropriate, to correct the situation and/or report the incident Escort casino funds and direct traffic to ensure safety Apprehend suspects to prevent escape and/or loss of company resources Assist and provide medical aid Perform other functions and tasks assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills a must
- Able to work irregular hours
- Dependable and punctual
- Physically fit and able to lift 40+ lbs.
- Must complete all security certifications within one year of hire in accordance with the Gaming Commissions rules and regulations
- Must complete a 90-day introductory period
- Must obtain Key Gaming License upon hire
