About The Position
Grey Interiors specializes in all work related to interior systems, including metal framing, air/moisture barrier, drywall, firewall, framing layouts, and infection control in the Carolinas. Grey Interiors specializes in creating unique and high-end custom environments for corporate, educational, and healthcare settings. If you can imagine it, we can build it. A successful estimator will able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple estimates on tight deadlines. An exceptional person in this role is critical to the growth and success of Grey Interiors.
Requirements
- 5+ years of drywall/metal framing estimating or field experience
- Proficient in reading plans and specs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Quick Bid or equivalent software preferred
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret bid documents, construction plans, schedules, and specifications
- Provide constructability comments and creative construction alternatives for clients
- Handle multiple project estimates
- Track project data for historical productions and costs
- Produce complete and detailed estimates for a variety of different project and contract types
- Create proposals with detailed, specific clarifications, inclusion,s and exclusions
