About The Position

We are partnering with a well-established commercial drywall contractor experiencing steady growth and looking to add an Estimator to their collaborative estimating team. This is a growth-driven role within a close-knit, high-performing group where accuracy, accountability, and teamwork matter just as much as technical skill. The estimating department works side-by-side in an open office environment, with leadership actively involved in bid reviews and decision-making. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in commercial drywall
Hands-on experience with drywall takeoffs (training is not available)
Proficiency with PlanSwift and/or OnScreen Takeoff
Strong proposal writing and estimating accuracy
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced bid environment

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed drywall framing estimates for commercial projects
Complete wallboard and plasterboard takeoffs
Estimate drywall equipment, materials, and supplies
Perform custom millwork estimating as needed
Use PlanSwift and OnScreen Takeoff for quantity takeoffs
Write and assemble clear, accurate bid proposals
Review bids daily with operations and leadership prior to submission
Participate in client scope review meetings via Zoom
Support occasional bid follow-ups (majority handled by leadership)
Bid volume varies, some weeks may involve quick-turn bids within hours, while others allow multiple days for completion. When timelines are tight, the team collaborates closely to ensure success.
