About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries We are currently hiring for a Dryer Operator to join our team! JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for monitoring the CBW presses, shuttle, and dryer lines to ensure a continuous flow of operation. Also responsible for distributing carts of dried linens to the appropriate finishing stations.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of safety standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with an attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work and communicate in a richly diverse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push, pull, and lift.
• Energetic, self-starter.
• Basic ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.
• The employee is required to stand/walk most of the day and also required to repeat motions to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
• The employee must constantly push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
