Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year work experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be a team player and the ability to work independently.
Attention to detail.
Flexibility in the schedule is required regarding different shifts, days, weekends and holidays.
Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee will be required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb stairs.
The position requires standing for extended periods of time.
The noise level in the work environment is very loud. Ear plugs are provided for safety.
Regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works inside and outside in all different types of weather elements.

Responsibilities

Running large machinery and maintenance.
Packaging of protein powder in 50lb bags or large totes.
Troubleshooting of machinery.
Cleaning of floors, walls, tools, etc.
Chemical safety, workplace safety and cGMP training and practices.
CIP and sanitation of equipment.
Routine inspections of all working parts.
Move pallets using pallet jack or forklift as required.
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
Comply with GMPs in the plant.
Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality System.
