About The Position

Sev1Tech is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to join our team in developing, maintaining, and supporting a mission application system. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Drupal-based solutions, as well as providing operational support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our applications. This role requires a strong technical background in Drupal development, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Requirements

U.S. Citizen
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10 preferred)
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Expertise in developing custom Drupal modules and themes.
Experience with Drupal APIs, Drupal configuration management, and Drupal’s contrib ecosystem.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience in providing operational support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for Drupal applications.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

Experience with enterprise-scale Drupal implementations in industries such as healthcare, finance, or government.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and SEO best practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
Drupal certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Developer) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement custom Drupal modules, themes, and features to support enterprise applications.
Integrate Drupal applications with external systems, APIs, and third-party services to meet business requirements.
Provide ongoing operational support, including monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting issues in production environments.
Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following Drupal coding standards and best practices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and system administrators, to deliver scalable solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed features, configurations, and processes.
Ensure applications adhere to enterprise security standards and compliance requirements.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and scalability of Drupal applications.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including bugs, performance degradation, and system failures, in a timely manner.
Support Drupal version upgrades, migrations, and patching to keep applications current and secure.
