Drum Pack Operator - NH
About The Position
Packaging drum pack tubular wire for customer use according to Route Card / process sheet and production schedule requirements. Operate safely and identify / correct unsafe situations. Follow process specifications for machine setup, production, and packaging. Run multiple machines. Perform specified quality checks. Complete machine setup, change over, cast / sinewave adjustments, and troubleshooting in a timely manner. Place nonconforming products on hold. Perform rework. Perform restock and housekeeping. Willing to train on and operate other machines / processes as necessary. Read and update schedule.
Requirements
- Training on applicable Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery is required.
- Able to lift approx. 65 pounds on a continual basis.
- Able to safely load / unload reels in and out of machine.
- Able to meet / exceed specified production rates.
- Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management.
- Possess an excellent quality record.
- Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and team working skills.
- Forklift experience may be required.
