About The Position

Bach to Rock Music School Wyckoff, NJ is a fun, rewarding, and supportive music school. Our goal is to teach students of all ages to play the music they love — from rock and pop to funk, metal, and beyond. We are currently seeking a Drum Instructor to teach private lessons and ideally also work with Rock Bands . Experience is preferred, but passion, reliability, and the ability to connect with students are just as important. IMMEDIATE NEED FOR ROCK BAND COACHES Our Work Environment Includes Modern music school Private lesson rooms Dedicated band rooms Recording studio & control room Performance space DJ lab

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of drum technique, rhythm, and musical notation
• Solid understanding of music theory
• Patient, creative, and encouraging
• Comfortable teaching students of all ages and skill levels
• Passionate about helping students grow musically and confidently

Responsibilities

• Teach drum lessons tailored to each student’s goals and ability
• Provide instruction in technique, rhythm, reading, and performance
• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration
• Assist with student performances, recitals, and band showcases
