About The Position

THE ROLE: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Warehouse Worker (Drum Line Associate) to join our team. The Drum Line Associate is responsible for overseeing all operational activities within the drum line area. Key duties include completing daily checklists, sweeping trailers, verifying serial numbers, stacking drums, and loading trailers with PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) equipment in accordance with established procedures. This role ensures that all drums are packaged and labeled accurately and in compliance with current packaging specifications. The position operates in a fast‑paced environment and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining consistent workflows on the drum lines, and overtime on weekends. The Drum Line Associate is also responsible for completing all required training materials on schedule in SumTotal and providing support to additional warehouse functions as needed. HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 2PM-10PM MONDAY-FRIDAY.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of ERP system experience (i.e. SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc) – SAP preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing warehouse environment
  • Ability to read detailed and technical guides and processes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work off shift and or work overtime which is dictated by company/departmental needs.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow complex processes and procedures.
  • Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and lift 45lbs consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard, train, and support new employees in the drum line area, ensuring proper documentation and productive integration into the team.
  • Lead and ensure timely, accurate completion of operational documentation such as production reports, labels, verification sheets, rework instructions, and SAP transactions.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to process deviations and quality notifications in alignment with established procedures.
  • Promote and maintain high product quality standards while ensuring compliance with the quality system, ISO requirements, and other regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities, Kaizen events, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Uphold and reinforce all safety policies, procedures, and programs, holding team members accountable for safe work practices.
  • Respond to safety concerns, investigating potential hazards, and supporting corrective actions.
  • Support ongoing training and cross-training efforts to strengthen team capability and flexibility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support broader organizational and production goals.
