About The Position

In this role, you will... Provide individualized case management, supporting participants with housing, employment, education, life skills, and community resources. Screen, assess, orient, and coordinate intake of participants into the Drug Court Program, including required documentation and referrals. Facilitate group sessions and follow up on referrals to support participant progress and successful outcomes. Build and maintain community partnerships while promoting the Drug Court Program. Maintain accurate case records and program statistics. Participate in team meetings, staffing, and court sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • OR: 4+ years of progressively responsible related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
  • Valid Florida driver's license by date of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with substance abuse issues and case management, including familiarity with related community resources.
  • Working knowledge of the legal system, court processes, and judicial procedures.
  • Ability to analyze case files, ensure completeness, and move cases through the court process efficiently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, including confidentiality, effective relationship-building, and understanding the boundaries of case management versus legal practice.
