About The Position

The Doctor’s Lounge Attendant provides exceptional hospitality and support services to physicians and clinical staff utilizing the Doctor’s Lounge at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center. This role ensures a clean, organized, well‑stocked, and welcoming environment while upholding Aramark Healthcare+ service standards, food safety practices, and customer experience expectations. The Attendant acts as a professional, friendly point of contact to help maintain smooth daily operations within the lounge.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform routine physical tasks
  • Professional communication skills appropriate for a healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare support services
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Doctor’s Lounge, including dining areas, refreshment stations, seating areas, and service counters.
  • Stock and replenish all food, snacks, beverages, utensils, and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation; follow all Aramark and hospital food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Set up, maintain, and break down daily meal service in coordination with Food & Nutrition Services leadership.
  • Greet physicians and staff in a professional, courteous manner and address needs promptly.
  • Ensure coffee machines, beverage dispensers, and equipment are cleaned and functioning properly.
  • Remove trash, wipe down surfaces, and maintain overall lounge appearance at all times.
  • Report equipment or supply issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support special physician-related events or catering needs as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in a clinical environment.
