About The Position

The Drop Team Associate is responsible for the overall counting of the machine drops, paperwork, and verification of money in the canister/containers. Any questions or concerns should be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification. The soft count shall be performed by a minimum of three employees. Drop team shall follow policies and procedures for Drop Team as approved by KNGC. Count room personnel shall not be allowed to exit or enter the count room during the count except for and emergency. At no time during the count shall there be fewer than three employees in the count room until the drop proceeds have been counted and accepted into a cage /vault accountability. Surveillance shall be notified whenever count personnel enter or exit the count room. Count team members shall be rotated on a routine basis such that a count team is not consistently the same persons more than four (4) days per week. All paperwork must be completed and signed off on before shift ends. Assist fellow employees when needed. Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Ensures that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one. Be courteous and professional at all, times to co-workers, guests, vendors or anyone you may have contact with while on duty. Must wear your gaming badge at all, times while on duty or conducting company business in the casino. Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate or controlling supervisor. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license.
  • Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned. (Includes weekends/nights/ and holidays.)
  • Frequent lifting may occasionally be required to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Position requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing and use of hands / fingers, and must be self motivated and able to work independently.
