About The Position

The Drop-In Case Manager ensures a safe and supportive environment for youth in TGTHR’s Daytime Drop-In program. This position provides behavioral coaching, crisis intervention, and case management, while coordinating functions across the Drop-In and Street Outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field, or 2–4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience with social justice issues impacting youth homelessness, including intersections of race, gender, sexuality, ability, immigration, and socioeconomic status.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license (or ability to obtain); willingness to transport participants.
  • Minimum age 21.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HUD, MPHA, and City of Boulder housing regulations preferred.
  • Experience in residential or youth programs preferred.
  • Understanding of the child welfare system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage Drop-In and Street Outreach participants in individualized case management and goal planning.
  • Build a culture of mutual accountability, respect, and inclusion aligned with TGTHR’s core values of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Maintain a trauma-informed and supportive environment.
  • Work consistent Drop-In shifts and attend team meetings and supervision.
  • Use crisis intervention techniques as needed.
  • Schedule and provide transportation for participant appointments.
  • Connect participants with community resources and support services.
  • Document all contacts, referrals, and intakes in Salesforce and paper files.
  • Facilitate recreational or skill-building activities with participants.
  • Maintain communication with caseworkers, probation officers, guardians, and other partners.
  • Participate in on-call rotation under the Program Manager’s direction and maintain the on-call log.
  • Other duties as assigned.
