About The Position

sUAS Drone Integration Specialist / Electronics Technician OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a sUAS Drone Integration Specialist / Electronics Technician to support our Army customer on Redstone Arsenal. Job Responsibilities include: The Integration Specialist is responsible for providing technical support of our work on rapid prototyping of sUAS Drone systems in assigned areas, such as research, design, development, testing, assembly, and/or installation process improvement. Positions parts, components, and subassemblies on drone systems. May assist in engineering testing and/or experimental testing. May prepare and generate written and/or oral reports on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Two years of electronics training from technical trade school or military technical school, or extra experience 1+ years of related work experience
  • Experience as a technician working with assembly, component installation, soldering, Bill of Materials, understanding schematics and drawings, etc.
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written/verbal descriptions or from defined plans
  • Minimal travel for field testing and/or project meetings may be required
  • Candidates must have two years of electronics training from technical trade school or military technical school or two years of computer training as applicable to the job.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical components preferred
  • Experience with sUAS design, prototyping, and assembly is a plus
  • Mission Planner, Q Ground Control, PX4 and Arduopilot experience
  • Familiar with drones and/or Remote Control (R/C) experience
