About The Position

THE DRIVING RANGE MASTER SUPERVISOR OVERSEES DRIVER TRAINING RANGE OPERATIONS AND SUPERVISES PERSONNEL SUPPORTING DAILY TRAINING ACTIVITIES. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING TRAINING RANGES, EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPORT RESOURCES ARE PROPERLY PREPARED, MAINTAINED, AND OPERATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES. THE SUPERVISOR COORDINATES CLOSELY WITH INSTRUCTORS AND PROGRAM LEADERSHIP TO ENSURE SAFE, EFFICIENT, AND EFFECTIVE TRAINING DELIVERY. CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience supporting driver training operations, range environments, or similar outdoor training activities.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience required.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic training environment.
  • Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required FLETC access credentials.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supervising personnel in a training or operational environment.
  • Experience supporting law enforcement or military driver training programs.
  • Familiarity with range operations, training logistics, and equipment management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of driving range personnel, including rangemasters and laborers.
  • Ensure driver training ranges are prepared, configured, and operational prior to scheduled training events.
  • Oversee setup, maintenance, and breakdown of training equipment including cones, barriers, and training aids.
  • Coordinate with instructors and training staff to align range operations with training schedules.
  • Monitor range operations to ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Ensure proper use, accountability, and storage of range equipment and materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections of range areas and equipment to ensure readiness and serviceability.
  • Address operational issues, equipment deficiencies, and safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and training to assigned personnel to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Support inventory tracking and logistics coordination for range materials and supplies.
  • Maintain communication with program leadership regarding operational status and support requirements.
  • Assist in developing and improving processes to enhance range efficiency and effectiveness.
