About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely load and unload operations, route driving, and delivery of goods while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, within local routes. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Deliver freight to designated locations on time while adhering to route schedules and traffic laws. Manage documentation related to deliveries, including delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during driving or loading. Maintain a clean driving record and uphold safety protocols at all times during daily operations. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision. Experience handling various types of freight including refrigerated goods. Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other loading equipment. Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and local traffic laws. Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients effectively.
