About The Position

The Driver at La Posada is responsible for helping to implement the community’s philosophy of well-being through daily interaction with residents and providing transportation to community programs, events and resident appointments as required. The role involves providing exemplary customer service that encourages independence and fosters a secure and friendly environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience as a driver
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
• Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required)
• First Aid Certification or willing to obtain one

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to community events, shopping excursions, etc.
• Assist with scheduling transportation as required
• Promote resident attendance and participation in all Wellness Programs and community activities
• Monitor general maintenance and overall safety of vehicles
• Assist in setting up/tearing down Community events as needed.
