We’re hiring a Driver for a part-time schedule of 15–20 hours per week , with flexibility required to accommodate appointments, outings, and special events. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Must be in good physical condition and able to work a flexible schedule according to residents’ needs
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess good character and can communicate well with elderly people; must be willing to assist residents and anticipate their needs
- Must have or be willing to maintain current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Transport residents to and from various functions such as medical appointments, community functions and resident entertainment events
- Remain with the resident(s) until the return to Morningstar Living unless the resident is independent and does not require assistance or an escort is present
- Complete all necessary transportation paperwork with Morningstar Living personnel.
- Keep accurate records of time, mileage, or other required information
- Perform various vehicle maintenance and housekeeping tasks as requested by supervisor
