Driver – Evening - Behavioral Healthcare Transportation Join Our Team as a Driver! Our Drivers are often the first and last point of contact for our clients, making this role essential in creating a positive and supportive experience. In this role, you will provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for individuals receiving behavioral healthcare services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Completion of safety training upon hire
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Comfortable with frequent and extended driving
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Excellent customer service skills, including in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from behavioral healthcare facilities
- Maintain a secure and supportive environment for clients, yourself, and others during transport
- Provide professional, courteous, and empathetic customer service
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and team members
- Follow all transportation policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Monitor and assist clients as needed during transport
- Maintain accurate knowledge of transportation procedures and reporting processes
