We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Driver. An individual could be successful if they possess the following. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Provides high level of quality service standards in Valet department on applicable shift. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. Provides impeccable guest service to all guests Drives passenger vehicles to airports, hotels, restaurants, and points of interest in local and south Arkansas area. Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulation. Stocks vehicle with supplies before trip as needed. Ensures that all vehicle's equipment is working properly. Maintains a clean and neat appearance with good communication skills. Able to drive any vehicle on property and fill in during peak times or when necessary with shuttle vehicles if there are no scheduled trips. Monitors parking lot and exterior areas and reports unsafe or suspicious activity to Guest Safety Services. Provides jump starts and tire inflation to guests and cast member vehicles as needed. Follows established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to perform the physical job duties of all Driver team members.
  • Must have the ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission automobile.
  • Must be able to work outdoors subject to varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Oaklawn Jockey Club.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous professional chauffeur experience preferred.
