About The Position

Benhaven Transportation Department is Seeking a Driver. This is a Fulltime, non-exempt unionized position. This position is Monday-Friday 9a-5p. The ideal candidate must have their V-Endorsement. This is a unique position in working with our residential and school programs and our students. Looking for someone who is flexible and a team player. Responsibilities: The following duties are assigned to this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Drive students to and from school daily. Provide transportation for schools for recreational activities as needed throughout the day in the Wallingford area. Keep assigned vehicle clean and tidy. Complete pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Make sure all endorsements and licensures are up to date per agency policies & requirements. Attend all required trainings per agency and state policies & requirements. Follow all agency Policies & Procedures.
