Core responsibilities include unloading shipments, verifying product information, moving materials using forklifts or manual methods, and following system-generated replenishment tasks to ensure product availability. This role also participates in order picking and packing, either manually or using computerized systems, to support accurate and timely shipping. The Warehouser DC rotates between various warehouse functions, such as box making, line starting, packing, and shipping, based on business needs and Team Lead's / Coordinator's direction. Success in this position requires a team-oriented approach, adherence to work instructions, and a focus on safety, accuracy, and quality. The Warehouser DC is expected to maintain a cooperative attitude, assist others, and actively contribute to smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • Must train on warehouse terminology/acronyms, RF functionality, basic PC skills, and OSHA standards; demonstrate competency in workplace safety.
  • Perform successfully in a team-oriented, time-sensitive, multicultural environment; communicate warehouse functions clearly and interpret procedures.
  • Dependable, able to meet expectations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; results-oriented, assertive, and lead by example.
  • Complete Mary Kay forklift certification within 90 days; safely operate industrial trucks and battery equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain certification (evaluated every 3 years).
  • Physical requirements: frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and reaching; stamina to move up to 70 lbs.; able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Use computer systems to generate paperwork, labels, reports, communicate effectively, and maintain records.
  • Maintain sufficient visual acuity and eye/hand coordination for safe forklift operation.
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate, quality-minded, with a strong work ethic.
  • Willing to perform additional warehouse functions (pick line operations, product inspections, inventory audits, housekeeping).
  • Must maintain good attendance, follow safety policies, and be available for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Receives inventory by unloading shipments, scanning pallet IDs, and verifying product information against Advance Shipping Notices (ASN). Tasks include labeling, staging, and supporting put-away activities under the Coordinator's or Team Lead's direction.
  • In outbound shipping, supports the Inventory Control Coordinator and the Coordinator DC in preparing shipments by scanning and staging pallets, ensuring items are ready for loading. Communicate with the incoming and outgoing drivers on paperwork, perform trailer compliance checks, and retain documents as needed.
  • A critical element of this role is task-driven replenishment, which involves responding to system-generated assignments to restock pick lines and secondary warehouse locations. This requires verifying product details, cutting cartons carefully, and loading cases into bulk flow racks to prevent mis-stocks. Remaining inventory is returned to appropriate reserve locations according to system prompts.
  • Supports inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts and inventory checks under the guidance of Inventory Control Coordinator or Warehouser I US. Discrepancies are reported immediately for resolution. The role follows established procedures to help maintain accurate records but relies on higher-level staff for reconciliation and corrective actions.
  • In coordination with Coordinator the Warehouser DC delivers materials and components as instructed to the DA area, inspects finished goods under supervision, and returns stock to proper locations when directed.
  • Upon the business need the position may rotate between line functions such as box making, order filling, packing, and quality checks, always under close oversight to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Additional tasks include basic housekeeping and assisting with additional projects or additional duties as needed.
  • Performs basic equipment checks, such as daily forklift inspections, and reports issues immediately to Team Leads.
  • Carries out preventative maintenance tasks and operates industrial trucks and battery-handling equipment safely.
  • Supports replenishing materials for and maintaining key warehouse equipment such as strapping machines, paper or airbag dispensers, and tape machines.
  • Assists with simple tasks like replenishing supplies for tape or strapping machines.
  • This job requires on-site work at multiple Mary Kay facilities.
