Summary The Driver and Warehouse Specialist is a critical position to help support the steady growth of the Renewable Energy market. Within this role, the candidate will be working directly with customers and local vendors as well as other vendors located throughout the US. In this fast-paced position, the ideal candidate will need to be well organized and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure our customers are satisfied with the services and products supplied. There will be many challenges that arise throughout the day and the candidate must be able to remain focused and positive to maintain great relationships with the customers, vendors and within the organization. The candidate will work directly with the Branch Manager, Inside Support Team Members, Outside Sales, and will need to coordinate with Vendors. Each team member is dedicated to providing great customer service and the ideal candidate must also be focused on ensuring customers are satisfied to ensure they return for additional business.

Requirements

Electrical and Renewable Energy experience/knowledge preferred, but not required
Previous Driver/ Warehouse experience is preferred
Must have great customer service skills and “AIM TO PLEASE” attitude
Proficient in typing, data entry, and Microsoft applications
Ability to quickly think about “ outside of the box ” solutions
Great communication skills both verbally and in emails correspondence
Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized and self-motivated
Comfortable talking with customers and vendors in any situation
High School Diploma/GED
Clean Driving/ Criminal Record
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to drive for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours continuously)

Nice To Haves

Electrical and Renewable Energy experience/knowledge preferred, but not required
Previous Driver/ Warehouse experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Customer & Vendor Interface Pick-up and delivery of material from vendors to project sites
Coordinate with customers while on site to determine best location for deliveries
Communicate with customers prior to deliveries to ensure all material and tools are accurate and ready to be accepted on site
Obtain and provide delivery/ tracking information
Obtain and provide extended lead times for products
Warehouse Organize, clean, and maintain inventory in warehouse
Maintain Inventory Levels
Prepare replenishment orders and communicate when inventory is running low
Ensure stock in CES’ system is correct and updated regularly
Data Entry Support in Maintaining Tracking spreadsheet
Input freight charges
Review and Correct Inventory Data
Vendor relations Work with vendors to acquire Tracking information and freight charges
Ensure material arrives when required
Support Inside Sales in obtaining pricing for products
