CDL B Driver/Warehouse Specialist Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated CDL Driver/Warehouse Technician to join our Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team . In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Class B trucks, to transport client materials, while also performing essential warehouse functions . As a Mobile Shred Operator, you will act as the public face of ALM, engaging with clients and co-workers in a professional manner .

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with 1 year of Warehouse experience
  • A minimum age of 21 with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a good driving record
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and the proven ability to perform safe, efficient driving and material handling procedures
  • Proven ability in customer service and verbal communication to professionally engage with clients and stakeholders
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles for local and regional pickups, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and strictly adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Organize and manage inventory within the warehouse, utilizing equipment like forklifts to efficiently prepare and process materials, including picking, packing, and labeling gaylords for shipment
  • Engage with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth material handling, assisting with loading and unloading freight and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
