About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. This role involves performing onsite client pickups of decommissioned IT equipment, ensuring secure handling and transport in accordance with company and industry data security standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to safe driving practices, excellent customer service, and reliable schedule management. Prior experience in logistics or ITAD services is a plus, but not required. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with some additional hours if client pick-ups require (i.e. must be willing to work flexible hours when necessary.) Reports to: This position reports to the Logistics Manager Compensation: $60,000/Salary + Extended Travel bonuses Location: Whites Creek, TN (Nashville) Position responsibilities include local pick-ups, as well as regional pick-ups. For regional pick-ups, you may be a couple of hours away, or a couple of states away. So you must be willing to travel by truck or plane as needed! This role involves travel away from home about 50% of the time. We care deeply about work-life balance and collaborate with our drivers to build schedules that are efficient, realistic, and human. You’ll always receive as much advance notice as possible before each trip. This position has various responsibilities; driving, loading & unloading, managing inventory, general warehouse duties, and processing (sorting) electronics.   • Valid driver's license
  • Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • The ability to speak/read English fluently
  • Clean criminal record
  • Must pass a drug screen upon hire:
  • This position is responsible for some safety-sensitive duties (operating company vehicles/heavy machinery) and therefore requires a commitment from the team member to be completely impairment free - please keep this in mind before submitting your application.
  • Overnight travel is required and may be up to 50% of the time, depending on routes and assignments
  • Must possess a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card) or be willing to obtain one after accepting an offer of employment and prior to start date:
  • The DOT Medical Card indicates physical qualification to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
  • If applicable, ER2 will provide time, guidance, and cover the cost to complete this requirement in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Excellent driving and navigation skills
  • The ability to lift, push, pull, maneuver or carry heavy objects as needed, 70-100 lbs.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience driving larger vehicles is a definite plus, not required (will be driving a 26-foot box truck)
  • Prior experience in logistics or ITAD services is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow planned daily route based on pick-ups assigned
  • Provide excellent customer service when picking up from clients
  • Safely and securely load, transport, and unload goods
  • Keep up with daily communication with clients, partners, and team members via phone and email
  • Perform vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Utilize multiple sources to research and assess resale value of electronic products received
  • Sort non valuable products into appropriate containers
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, or front-end loaders to load bales, bundles, or other heavy items
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles, as well as supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide assistance or direction to other departments.
  • Utilize internal communication tools to reach other departments.
