About The Position

Provo Canyon School, located in Springville, UT, is a 24/7 secure behavioral health treatment center for adolescents aged 13 through 17. We coach, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. Our goal is to provide treatment that results in positive changes, allowing these youth to return to their families and communities. To learn much more please visit www.provocanyon.com As a Driver, You are responsible for escorting patients to and from doctor's appointments. Checks patient in with doctor's receptionist, waits with patient in lobby, and stays with patient in the examination room. Escorts patients to and from the airport for home visits. Responsible for enforcing school structure at all times while off-campus. Runs other school errands as assigned in as fast, safe and economical a manner as possible. Operates school vehicles in a safe manner, obeying all traffic regulations and posted speed limits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Excellent Verbal Communication Skills
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team and possible high stress environment
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict
  • Must have excellent attendance record
  • Valid Utah Class C chauffeurs license; good driving record which meets the following criteria: May not have had any of the following during the previous three years: Driving while intoxicated or impaired or under the influence of drugs. Reckless driving or similar violation (e.g. racing). Speed in excess of 25 MPH over the posted limit. Criminal type convictions (e.g. negligent homicide, manslaughter, hit & run, etc.) Three or more at fault accidents and/or moving violations in the past three years. Two or more at fault accidents and/or moving violations in the past year.
