About The Position

The Douglas Retail store, located at 1300S. Madison Ave , is currently looking
for a hard-working and dedicated Driver.

You will be hired as a Driver, however, you will be cross-trained and expected
to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

A part-time position averages 32 - 40 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based
on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating
days will fluctuate based on store location. The Driver must be available to
work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial driving experience, preferred.
• Prior forklift experience, preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicle logs and daily trip sheets according to all company procedures.
• Reports any mechanical problems, delays, accidents, and/or other traffic and transportation situations to leadership team.
• Loads and unloads trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers by hand or with the use of a hand truck, lift gate, and/or pallet jack during pick-up and drop-offs.
• Conducts daily preventative maintenance checks, before, during and after operations, and adheres to all safety regulations.
• Cleans the inside of the assigned vehicle daily, and the outside, as needed.
• Report concerns to the leadership team immediately.
• Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on the truck to prevent damage during transit.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
