About The Position

Job Purpose: To provide for safe, comfortable and timely transportation of residents to and from the facility MUST BE CDL LICENSED Salary Range based on years of experience: $17.60-$27.90/hour Essential Functions: Provide transportation of passengers, supplies and equipment as requested by the Director of Nursing and Health Services Unit or appropriate designated authority; • Safe and timely portal-to-portal transportation of residents on both a scheduled and as needed basis. • Responsible for pickup and delivery of supplies, equipment and material as required. • Assures that vehicle is fully fueled and ready to drive; reports mechanical problems to appropriate source for repairs. • Maintains required transportation logs, records and reports. • Observes residents for any change in condition and reports same to Unit Manager. • Ability to observe residents' conditions and respond and communicate with residents and staff: • Ability to deal effectively and appropriately with residents and public. • Perform other related assignments as related. • Ensure resident's rights are followed by all volunteers. • Performs other related assignments as required. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Must be CDL Licensed
