About The Position

The Driver Manager is responsible for dispatching assigned drivers, load planning and communicating with professional drivers. It is the responsibility of the Driver Manager to oversee the daily activities relating to our transportation team.

Requirements

• Leadership
• Effectively communicate with, and dispatch drivers.
• Problem Solving/Analysis.
• Review and audit driver logs to ensure compliance with hours of service and FMCSA regulations.
• Time Management.
• Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations.
• Preferred background in logistics and/or management
• Experience in a leadership role.
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Mcleod a plus

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and supervises the loads of assigned drivers.
• Coordinates the availability of equipment for maintenance.
• Effectively communicate with, and dispatch drivers.
• Enter accurate and complete load information into computer system.
• Review and audit driver logs to ensure compliance with hours of service and FMCSA regulations.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
