Waste Connections will cover all costs associated with obtaining your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and pay you while you learn! In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced CDL drivers, Driver Trainers, and Operations Supervisors to learn the proper operation of commercial vehicles and earn your CDL. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in an industry that offers growth opportunities and steady employment. What to Expect: First two weeks: Training at your local Waste Connections district. Within the first 30 days: Obtain your CDL permit. Within the first 60 days: Attend a Waste Connections-partnered Driving School in Gastonia, NC (based on school availability). Paid Training! All hotel, travel, and food costs will be covered.
