Residents are able to seamlessly transition from independent living to assisted living, and skilled nursing care, as their healthcare needs change. Lake Port Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver: Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs inside and outside of the Community. Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.). Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van. Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance. Clean and wash vehicle. May perform housekeeping functions as directed. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Requirements

  • CDL
  • Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
  • High school diploma or GED required
