About The Position
The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for delivering building materials to customer job sites while providing professional and courteous service. This role requires knowledge of loading/unloading procedures, safe equipment operation (trucks and Moffetts), and adherence to safety protocols. Drivers are also expected to maintain equipment, complete preventative maintenance logs, and assist with yard duties such as loading customers and keeping areas clean. A clean driving record and strong customer service skills are essential.
Requirements
- Basic education, which includes the ability to competently read and write.
- Two years of experience operating a motor vehicle specified by license.
- Compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
- Valid Commercial (CDL) driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen (DOT where required by FMCSA)
- Clean MVR
- Insurability for driving
