About The Position

We are currently seeking a Vacuum Truck Dispatcher- 12-hour shift  For our Carthage, TX location.

This position will be responsible for the safe scheduling and dispatch of company assets to appropriate locations, according to customer specifications. You must be able to multi-task. Must be service orientated, always focused with taking care of the customer and company personnel in efficient and respectful manor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 plus years' experience in Dispatch with multiple units
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bilingual -English/Spanish a plus
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Prior oilfield experience
• Minimum of 2 years dispatch experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to successfully use computer programs.
• Time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Vacuum Trucks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Discuss all job-related information coming up on the next shift with incoming dispatcher.
• Discuss any issues related to jobs, drivers, and equipment with incoming dispatcher.
• Work with supervisors and shop personnel to ensure employees and equipment leave the yard in a safe, timely and orderly manner.
• Communicate any special job instructions, driving directions, and safety issues to drivers and supervisors.
• Ensure drivers dispatched on time-sensitive jobs have enough time to get to the job site safely and on time.
• Ensure all information taken from customers, salesmen and supervisors is complete to do the job correctly.
• Ensure all information in dispatch system and logbook is accurate and correct.
• Ensure drivers are dispatched to jobs efficiently, effectively, and cost-effectively.
• Ensure all job information is set up correctly for the next shift in dispatch system.
• Working in partnership with the billing group on invoices to ensure accuracy.
