About The Position

The Compliance Associate - Driver Screenings shall provide direct support to the Driver Compliance Manager - Screenings in the execution of regulatory and company tasks for driver vetting and credentialing. The Associate shall help ensure that UZURV’s driver partners meet all necessary requirements to operate safely and are compliant with both internal policies and regulatory standards in multiple states and markets. The Associate shall utilize various internal and external software applications to perform their duties. They will work in a highly collaborative environment with Compliance, Engagement, and Support teams to streamline onboarding and ongoing driver compliance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of regulatory and/or compliance experience in any discipline preferred
  • Technologically proficient in Google Suite, Zendesk, CRM, MS Office suite applications is preferred.
  • Ability to interact, communicate and work collaboratively in a professional manner with various people at all levels within the organization, as well as our driver community, when necessary
  • Attention to detail and focus on organizational skills, proofreading, grammar and composition skills, and research skills
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work in a volume-based role.
  • Capacity to learn and use new software and custom programs
  • Sense of discretion in completion of tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Any combination of experience working in transit, transportation, rideshare service, etc. preferred
  • Experience with regulatory agencies, law, or work in a regulated industry is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date on changes to internal policies, contract requirements, and city/state regulations that inform driver eligibility, screening, and reporting standards
  • Log and maintain accurate records of driver information in internal tracking systems
  • Identify trends in errors or rejections and recommending improvements to SOPs for enhanced efficiency and quality
  • Report driver statuses to regulatory agencies and program partners on a weekly basis
  • Perform contract-specific and regulatory driver screening, credentialing and reporting activities in multiple states and markets
  • Assist in investigations of potential driver violations of UZURV policies
  • Communicate issues, trends and concerns with processes and procedures to leadership for review and solutioning
  • Utilize a variety of software applications of varying complexity in the performance of work processes
  • Recognize urgency in review of information and understand when to escalate issues
  • Assist with system retrieval of documents for regulatory reporting and auditing performed by team members
  • Timely submission of drivers for regulatory credentialing
  • Resolve driver inquiries in electronic support system satisfactorily
  • Receive training to assist with background and motor vehicle screenings to serve as backup to Compliance Specialist
  • Regularly collaborate with Compliance, Engagement, and Support teams to streamline and improve processes
  • Performs any other duties related to the job function as may be assigned by the Compliance Manager or any other senior official of the company
