About The Position

You’ll be responsible for keeping vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and for operating vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers and materials, in compliance with government and management directives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience as a licensed driver.
• A valid commercial (bus driver) Class B driver license with passenger endorsement in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate light truck, buses and passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages; ensure adherence to established schedules.
• Maintain vehicles for routine services, clean vehicles, check fluid levels and reports.
• Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection daily, including lights, breaks, mirrors, steering, and other required operating equipment; recommend mechanical repairs as needed.
• Promote and support the center wide development of the Career Development Services System (CDSS) plan.
• Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.
