Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is looking for a Driver-CDL to join our team for following hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm! What You’ll Do: As a Driver, you will conduct quality control test drives to ensure vehicles meet required standards, verify customer complaints through specific test drives, and document all results. You will also organize vehicle lots for better presentation, run errands such as picking up parts, and maintain a daily log of activities. Additionally, you'll cover for the lot porter and perform other related tasks as needed, all while adhering to Department of Transportation safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Over two (2) years of driving experience preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License A (must be able to drive manual vehicles).
  • Department of Transportation medical card and medical release.
  • Willingness to submit to and pass random drug testing as per Department of Transportation requirements.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with traffic laws.
  • Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and lift.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control test drives to ensure vehicles meet required standards.
  • Design and execute specific test drives to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Document and report test results accurately.
  • Complete performance sheets after road tests.
  • Perform test drives to verify customer complaints and identify issues.
  • Organize and arrange vehicle lots to enhance presentation.
  • Run errands such as picking up parts from other locations as needed.
  • Record daily activities in a daily log.
  • Cover for the lot porter when necessary.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as required.
  • Adhere to Department of Transportation safety standards.
